She was predeceased by: her parents, Elwood Ratcliffe and Ruth Ratcliffe (Wilson); her husband Merril Berg; her sisters, Vivian Smestad (William) and Dorothy Matta (Juel); and her stepdaughter Rene.

She is survived by: her adoptive daughter Janee Brendemuhl of Hope, ND; her son Dr. Scott Senne (Linda) of Lehigh Acres; her grandchildren, Summer and Shiloh; her stepdaughter Linda Zeigler (George) of Big Springs; and her close friend Jan Steffen. She is also survived by many step grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
