He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Jacobson and Edna Jacobson (Sakshaug); his siblings, John Jacobson and Karen Jacobson Dire; his in-laws, Peter and Minnie Schwab; his wife Marilyn Schwab; his siblings-in-law, Robert "Bud" Dire, William Schwab, Darlene Hatzenbihler and Frank Hatzenbihler; his daughter-in-law Sandra Jacobson; his grandson John Jacobson; and his great grandchild Hazel Jacobson.
He is survived by: his sons, Carl Jacobson (Sue) of Mandan and Alan Jacobson (Elicia) of Mandan; his grandchildren, Aaron, Sarah (Renee), Kathryn and Teal Jacobson (Donovan); his great grandchildren, Monte, Bobby Jr. and Dexter; and his close friends, Paige Newton, Todd, Mary Newton, Blair and Vicki Newton.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the First Lutheran Church (408 9th St NW, Mandan, ND 58554). A memorial service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
