She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Norton and Ella Norton (Westmeyer); her husband Lester Hoesel; and her siblings-in-law, Lawrence Hoger and Dorothy Hoger.
She is survived by: her son Blane Hoesel (JoAnne Maier); her daughter-in-law JoAnne; her nephews, Lorren Hoger (Jeannie) of New Salem and Larry Hoger (Debby) of Washington; and her niece Brenda Winckler (Daryl) of New Salem.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the donor's choice of charity in Mavis' name.
