She was predeceased by: her parents, Catherine Valk and Francis Valk; and her husband Terry Stewart. She is survived by: her children, Theresa Stewart, Dale Stewart (Angela), Deanne Wangler (Jim) and Nathan Stewart (Marian); her daughter-in-law Deb Stewart; her brothers, Ed Valk (Ione) and Jerry Valk (Georgie); her brother-in-law Jim Stewart (Sandy); and her friend Gene Himmelspach (Lyla). She is also survived by grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren.
She fought Alzheimer's disease for five years, amazing us all with her efforts to hold on to as many of her precious memories as possible.
