Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Lois Schwinkendorf of Mandan, North Dakota, born in Hazen, North Dakota, who passed away at the age of 89, on November 15, 2020. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Miller and Wilhelmina Miller (Riedeman); her stepfather Milton Grube; her husband Howard; her brother Lester Miller (Luella); her siblings-in-law, Donald Schwinkendorf, Roy Johnson, Alta Bethke (William), Larraine Johnson and Lorraine Schwinkendorf; and her nephew Darrell Miller.
She is survived by: her children, Donna Westman (Charles), Colette Lindsay (John) and David Schwinkendorf (Kristi); her sisters, LaRue Muller (Ed) and Corrinne Bliese (Mike); her siblings-in-law, Glen Schwinkendorf (Connie), Doris Ritz and Laverne Lottes; her grandchildren, Scott (Kristen), Shane (Jasmine), Sheldon Schmalenberger (Nicole), Ian (Jessie), Jason Kuntz (Ursula), Erin Kuntz, Derek (Erin) and Darin Schwinkendorf; and her close friend Doris Ritz. She is also survived by eight step-grandchildren; many great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, Lois prefers memorials to Sanford School of Nursing Scholarship Fund of 1952, the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, or United Methodist Church, Mandan.
