She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard R. Schmidt and Dorothy Schmidt (Rolfes); her siblings, Mary Ann and Richard Schmidt (Dick); her siblings-in-law, Leo, Joe, Clarence, Donald, Jimmy Schwartzbauer, Herb Hill, Wayne Lampe, Marie Hill, Lorraine Schwab, Marlene Schwartzbauer and Mary Ann Schmidt; and her nephews, Brad Schmidt, Gordy Schwab and Joe Hill.
She is survived by: her husband Leonard Schwartzbauer; her children, Lori Muller (Ken), Jeff Schwartzbauer, Theresa Markel (Tim) and Lisa Schwartzbauer (Bill Vogel); her grandchildren, Bryce Muller, Cole Muller (Caitlin), Jenn Frankeberger (Jeff), Kayla Wagner (Zach), Brandon Schwartzbauer (Amanda), Kelsey Beiswanger (Jeff) and Jonathan Markel; her brothers, Jim Schmidt and Dan Schmidt (Loraine); and her siblings-in-law, Marlene Schmidt, Janice Schwartzbauer, Helen Lampe and Wally Schwab. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren.
For the past few years, she valiantly battled debilitating symptoms of long COVID-19.
