We bid farewell to Leonica Alkire of Mandan, North Dakota, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 21, 2025 at the age of 75. Leonica touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husband Lyle Alkire; her parent Monica; her grandparents, Dora and Joseph; her aunt Verna Ermineskin; her uncles, Gilbert BooBoo, Patrick and Neil; and her siblings, Shirley Black Cloud, Matilda, Twila, Ivan, Maynard, Kenneth and Kevin.
She is survived by: her children, Raymond Glaser (Missy), Girard Glaser, Wade Glaser (Tammy) and Robbie Agard (AJ); her godchild Alecia; her grandchildren, Sasha Glaser, Saige Haecherl (Lee), Jade Glaser, Neko Glaser, Schad Agard and Shang Agard; her siblings, Carole, Doris, Regina Conica, Greta Conica and Joesph (Suzy); her cousins, Willard and Dorinda; and her close friends, Renee Vermillions, Gloria Reiter and Elaine Mclaughlin.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 9:30 AM at the DaWise-Perry Funeral Services (4614 Memorial Hwy, Mandan, ND 58554). A memorial service was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
