He was predeceased by: his parents, Pete Bachmeier and Zina Bachmeier (Ternes); and his brothers, Donald and Robert. He is survived by: his wife Lillian Twite; his children, Michaela Knower of Eagan, MN, Gwen Mangiamele (Paul) of Eden Prairie, MN, Tamara Bachmeier of Big Fork, MT, Cameron of Mandan, ND and Craig (Sue) of Santa Fe, NM; his grandchildren, Tasha, Charles, Mia, Henry, Isaac, Lewis, Josef and Ben; his great grandchildren, William, Nolan, Lilly and Griffin; his brothers, Will (Doris) of Minot, ND and Dean (Norma) of Minot, ND; his sister-in-law Jean (Donald); and his friend Wade Bachmeier (Eden).
Leonard Bachmeier, 86, ended his battle with Alzheimer's Disease on June 23, 2021.
