He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip Vetter and Annie Vetter (Aberle); his brothers, Ralph Vetter and Kenny Vetter; his brother-in-law Eugene Gefroh; and his nieces, Wanda Fiechtner, Denise Vetter and Amanda Perkins.
He is survived by: his great-nephew Braxton; his siblings, Philip Vetter Jr., Viola Gefroh, Judy Loebs (Wes) and Marlene Perkins (Dwight); his sisters-in-law, Diane Vetter and Jane Vetter; his godchildren, Glen Gefroh (Lori), Rebecca Leonard (Rick) and Shauna Crane (Dion); and his nieces and nephews, Lori Int Veldt (Adrian), Steve Gefroh, Carrie Nieuwsma (Todd), Sara Gefroh, Michelle Stessman (Casey), Brent Vetter, Kinley Vetter (Julie), Susan Schlosser (Steve), Kenny Vetter Jr., Jennifer Vetter and James Vetter (Steve).
