It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kurt Jeffrey Peterson of Mandan, North Dakota, born in Dickinson, North Dakota, who passed away on July 17, 2023, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Calvin Peterson and Betty Peterson; his wife Marlane Peterson; and his brother Ron. He is survived by: his daughters, Liz Peterson (Bradley) and Grace Peterson (Sam); and his siblings, Bruce (Kim), Sherry (Mark) and Penny (Greg).

He was a volunteer at the prison teaching a writing course and donated many historical items to the Heritage Center.
