He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Ciavarella and Rose Ciavarella (Swindling); his wives, Betty and Carol; his siblings, Herman (Adelaide), Tony (Agnus), Ken (Valerie), Leonard (Rosemary), Katherine Bernhardt (Adam), Dorothy Weber (Ralph), Donna Miller (Leo) and Cecelia Dosch; and his grandson Derik Ciavarella.
He is survived by: his children, Gayle (Randy Cermak) and Mark (Shelly, family: Bradley, Jaden); his granddaughter Shanna Vasquez (Eric); and his brother-in-law Herman Dosch. He is also survived by his many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
