She was predeceased by: her parents, George Schoonover and Margaret Schoonover (Gerving); her husband Bernie Metzner; her son Bernie Jr.; her grandchildren, Emily Joersz and Dale Rebenitsch; her son-in-law Robert Finch; and her siblings, Earl, Glen Schoonover and Lila Gress (Tony Gress).
She is survived by: her daughters, Elaine Joersz-Finch of Palm Desert, CA, Audrey Rebenitsch of Ft. Rice, ND and Carol Bosch (Tim) of Bismarck, ND; her sister Arlene Bruggeman-Capelle; and her sister-in-law Fran Schoonover. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, and 17 great grandchildren.
