He is survived by: his wife Judy Friesz; his children, Julie Landsiedel (Dave), Janelle Thomas (Frank), Jess Friesz (Jackie), Jamie Friesz (Carina), Jade Friesz (Sonya), Jodene Friesz, Joel Friesz (Charles), Justin Friesz (Crystal), JoLynn Friesz and Joshua Friesz (Rachel); his grandchildren, Jordan Epping (Tyler), Landon, Tryton Landsiedel, Ty, Taylen Thomas, Jonathan, Jenna Binstock, Briston, Bray, Brecken Friesz, Jace, Javin, Kelton Friesz, Chloe and Charlotte Friesz; his great grandchildren, Skylar Binstock and Audie Epping; his sisters, Loretta Loeb and Luella Collins; and his sister-in-law Jeannette Friesz.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Life Catholic Church (801 1st St SE, Mandan, ND 58554). A vigil service was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the St. Anthony Catholic Church (2358 Co Rd 136, St Anthony, ND 58566).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorials be made to the Spirit of Life Outreach Program or the SERRA USA Council in support of priestly and religious vocations.
