She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Julius Peterson and Anna Peterson (Hanson); her husband Melvin Scheurer; her children, Julie Murphy of Mandan, Cindy Fix of Bismarck, Wayne Scheurer (Elana) of Cadillac, MI and Michael Goertel (Jill) of Harford, SD; and her sister Darla Keigley. She was also cherished by ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
