He was predeceased by: his parents, George H Hopkins and Florence Hopkins (Gregor); and his son Billy Joe. He is survived by: his former wife Alyce Entzie; his son Jared Lee; his brother-in-law Duane; his wife Sharon (Renken); his son Karalyn (Klipfel); his sisters, Bonnie Mertz (Marvin), Frances Stroh (Dennis) and Marcia Borchardt (Buck); his siblings-in-law, Doreen Leingang (Duane), Don and Doug Renken; his grandson William Hopkins; his brother Rolland; and his nieces and nephews, Mertz, Keith Pfaff, Jessica and Jesse Leingang. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.
