He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Balling and Clara Balling (Johnson); and his sisters, Leora Graner (John), Noreen Hilfer (Casper), Delores Gahnz (Mutz) and Doris Balling. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, and great-grandnieces, and great-grandnephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the DaWise-Perry Funeral Services (4614 Memorial Hwy, Mandan, ND 58554). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Mandan Union Cemetery (1600 Mandan Ave, Mandan, ND 58554).
