Gary Schmidt Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 16, 2022, at the age of 69, Gary Schmidt of Mandan, North Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Schmidt and Ella Schmidt (Popelka); his siblings, Donnie Schmidt and Edna Kottsick; his brother-in-law Gene Kottsick; his stepsons, Alan and Charles Wood; and his nephew Dean Schmidt.
He is survived by: his daughter Tasha Tkach (Jeremy) of Bismarck; his stepsons, Dennis Swindling of Mandan and Gerald Wood of Mount Jackson, Pennsylvania; his siblings, Richard Schmidt (Cindy) of Alburnett, Iowa and Delores Ternes of Mandan; his sister-in-law Cherylynn Schmidt of Mandan; and his friend Mona Wilson of Bismarck. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
