It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Mantz of Mandan, North Dakota, born in Bismarck, North Dakota, who passed away on August 26, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Sr. Mantz and Lena Mantz (Miller); and his brothers, Larry, Lyle, Marvin, Ronnie and Neal.

He is survived by: his wife Eileen; his children, Mike Mantz and Kari Cook (Chad); his stepchildren, Jamie Gyolai (Sarah) and Jason Gyolai (Sara); his siblings, Mildred Leidholm and Robert Mantz (Gail); and his grandchildren, Lexi, Max Cook, Bryn, Myka, Shea Gyolai, Kayden, Kinsey, Jenna and Kai Gyolai.
