He is survived by: his wife Gladys; his daughter Michelle Colvert (Scott); his granddaughter Taylor; his brother Martin Wright; and his brother-in-law Edward Novotny.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to Sanford Hospice Bismarck, Visiting Angels Bismarck, and the Alzheimer's Association.
