We are sad to announce that on March 3, 2021, at the age of 103, Elizabeth (Betty) Leingang of Mandan, North Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Zander and Monika Zander (Kautzman); her husband Jack J. Leingang; her siblings, Liberatus (Margaret), George (Veronica), Dominick (Eva), Emil (Julie), Frank (Barbara), Steve (Magdalene), Anton (Beatrice), Joseph (Rose), Martin, Jack (Veronica), Casper, Nicholaus Zander, Helen Markel (John), Katherine Zerr (Adolph), Mathilda Leingang (Anton), Rose and Damaris; and her siblings-in-law, Joseph Leingang Jr. (Lorraine), Katherine Hopfauf (Sebastian), Emma Stegmiller (Gene) and Hildegard Hatzenbuhler.
She is survived by: her daughters, Karen Steinwand (Jim) and Kathy Leingang; her grandchildren, Hank Beck (Barb), Jack Beck (Teresa Thompson), Patti Dassinger (Dustin) and Brenda Huether (Scott McGowan); her great grandchildren, Cole, Taylor Beck (Tarissa Phipps), Krystal, Dylan Beck, Ian Thompson, Hunter, Cayden and Ty Dassinger; her great great grandchild Stella Beck; her granddaughter Ali Roscoe; her brother Jerome Zander; and also, Vern Leingang (Dorothy), Jeannette Friesz (Roy) and Judy Friesz (Jim). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
