She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Schmidt and Ella Schmidt (Popelka); her husband Eugene Kottsick; her parents-in-law, Charles and Eleanor Kottsick; her brother Donald Schmidt; her sister-in-law Marilyn Kottsick; her granddaughter Emma Lynn St. Peter; her daughter-in-law Julie Kottsick; and her nephew Dean Schmidt.

She is survived by: her children, Sherri Peiler (Brett), Bud Kottsick (Cindy) and Mark Kottsick (Roberta); her grandchildren, Chelsie, Evan, Carly, Dakota and Darrick; her siblings, Richard Schmidt (Cindy), Gary Schmidt, Delores Ternes and Cheryllyn Schmidt; and also, Marlene Pulkrabek (Jack), Josephine Kalvoda (Henry), Chuck Kottsick (MJ), Kathy Brown (Steve), Jim Kottsick and Dave Kottsick (Kathy). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
