With heavy hearts, we announce the death of DuWayne Zachmeier of Mandan, North Dakota, who passed away on November 1, 2022 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Zachmeier and Dorothy Zachmeier (Lahren); his spouse Vi Wagner; his parents-in-law, Roy and Eleanor Wagner; and his daughter-in-law Liz Zachmeier.
He is survived by: his son Bryan; his great grandchild Bryan Zachmeier of Tigard, OR; his children, Nick Zachmeier (Brinnley Barthels), Griffin Zachmeier, Deb Irvine (Richard) of Bismarck and Mark Zachmeier (Julie) of Mandan; his grandchildren, Courtney, Shelby and Alyssa Zachmeier; his daughter Sue Berger (Steve) of Dickinson; his grandchildren, Jorden Berger and Evan Berger (Jenna); his great grandchildren, Kashton and Kainan; his grandsons, Justin Berger (KayLeigh Malchose) and Eric Berger; his brother-in-law Bob (Dee "Chester"); his son Greg (Lori); his grandchild Cameron; and his children, Sandy (Steve) and Clooten. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made out to CHI Hospice who took excellent care of Vi and DuWayne in their final days.
