He was predeceased by: his parents, David Schlichenmayer and Rose Schlichenmayer (Wagner); his brothers, Vernon (Elverna), Dale (Doris), Gene and Darold; his brothers-in-law, Robert Munson, Emil Hoff, Thomas Schmidt, Norbert Fisher (Arlene) and Robert Fisher Jr.; and his parents-in-law, Robert and Regina Fisher.
He is survived by: his son Duane A. (Rhonda); his sisters, Arlene Hoff and Mardell Munson; and his sisters-in-law, Marlys Schlichenmayer, Marge Schlichenmayer, Gloria Schmidt (Fisher) and Bonnie Lundstom (Fisher). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
