He was predeceased by: his wives, Betty Lou Friesen and Wilma Entzel; his siblings-in-law, Judy Larson, Ilene Norgart, Charlotte Gust, Lucille Gust, Donald Debele, Buddy Friesen, Gordon Friesen and Leonard Norgart; and his nephews, Lenny Norgart and Bradley Friesen.
He is survived by: his children, Sheila and Tracy; and his siblings, Alfred (Luella), Richard, Dale (JoAnn) and Rosella. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
