She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Balkowitsch and Eileen Balkowitsch. She is survived by: her husband John Birkbeck; her children, Scott Birkbeck (Sarah), Angela Birkbeck and Becky Bates (Brandon); her grandchildren, Teegan, Sawyer and Everett; and her brothers, Ron Balkowitsch (Marlys) and Del Balkowitsch (Lorene). She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
A rosary was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 5:00 PM and at 7:00 PM at the DaWise-Perry Funeral Services (4211 Old Red Trail, Mandan, ND 58554). Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Life Catholic Church (801 1st St SE, Mandan, ND 58501). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
