She is survived by: her husband John Birkbeck; her children, Scott Birkbeck (Sarah), Angela Birkbeck and Becky Bates (Brandon); her grandchildren, Teegan, Sawyer and Everett; and her brothers, Ron Balkowitsch (Marlys) and Del Balkowitsch (Lorene). She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
