She was predeceased by: her great-grandparents, Wendell Leo Scott, Margaret and Leo Schmidt. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Richard Johnson, Elijah Skeen and Becky Lovgren; her daughter Iris; her significant other Jason Rings; her pet Iggy; her great-grandparent Mary Lou Scott; her grandparents, Ora May Winston, Butch and Brenda Sammons; her parents, Christal Lea (Keith) and Casey Sammons (Minette); her siblings, Alexis Sammons (John), Kia Sammons (Max), Sarah Wolfer, Mike Wolfer, Scott Ring and John Ring; her nieces and nephews, Oakleigh, Calli, Monroe, Felicity, Cordelia, Troy, Beckett, Makenna, Kaden of Chloe, TJ and Brennan; her aunts and uncles, Chad, Bridgette Sammons, Chantel Koho (Rick), Tara Stroud (Zack) and William Winston; and her cousins, Trintiy, Taylor Sammons, Bill, Zach, Chris, Stan Koho and Lucy Stroud.

During Covid Caitlyn tried various other things, but ultimately went back to being a CNA at the Baptist Home, where Caitlyn touched the lives of many.
