It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arthur Hilfer of Mandan, North Dakota, born in Fort Rice, North Dakota, who passed away on April 20, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Adam Hilfer and Mary Hilfer; his siblings, Richard Hilfer, Lorraine Fettig (Pete) and Phyllis Fairaizl (Don); and his brother-in-law Joe Schaff.
He is survived by: his wife Bernice "Bun" Landeis; his sons, Wynn (Belinda), John and Don (Nadine); his siblings, Dennis Hilfer (Sherry), Gertrude Schaff and Ellen Small (Clarence); and his sister-in-law Esther Erhardt (Hilfer). He is also survived by his three sons.
