He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexander Schwindt and Lydia Schwindt (Rath); and his brothers, Reinhardt and Orville. He is survived by: his wife Alvina; his children, Kathy Allen (Scott Ahmann), Barbara Hawley (Spencer), Larry (Nanci), Steven (Cathy), Jeffrey (Lorraine) and James (Jeannie); and his siblings, Erma Oeffner (Robert), Shirley Posey, Sandra Fetzer, Leo and Alex (Bonnie). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
