He is survived by: his wife Sharon Mertz; his daughters, Carleen Mertz (David Spraguer) and Stacey Dagnault (Patrick); his siblings, Inez Ziemann (Fred), Marvin Mertz (Bonnie), Irene Rauscher (Ray) and Terry Mertz (Sharon); his brothers-in-law, Joe Frank (Deb) and John Frank (Lori); his grandchildren, Cayla Cordova, Caitlin Cordova and Aidan Dagnault; and his great grandchild Kairos Tawfick.
