He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Schaff and Josephine Schaff (Geiger); and his siblings, Joseph, Julius, Florian Schaff, Florentine Kuntz and Regina Landeis.
He is survived by: his sister Wilhelmina Mizera (Minnie).
