It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wilmar Schenfisch formerly of Makoti, North Dakota, who passed away on November 12, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Schenfisch and Therese Schenfisch (Janz); his siblings, Oswald, Clarence and Bernice Walsh; his siblings-in-law, Robert Walsh, Bud Hauff and Sharon Knudson; and his nephew Dennis Walsh.
He is survived by: his wife MaryAnn Knudson; his children, Monty (Gina), Dean (Lanette), Joel (Gail), Bryon (Sheilah) and Patty Johnson (Dwight); his grandchildren, Amber Haugen (Chance), Dustin (Heather), Cason, Tanner, Mark, Anna Schenfisch, Jennifer Karow (Keith), LaTasha Lantry (Justin), Angie Nagle (Rob), Heather Riemer (Carl), Megan Engeseth (John) and Aaron Johnson; his great grandchildren, Quinn, Easton, Clay, Tatum, Emy, Rowan, Eldin and Hannah; his stepgreat-granddaughter Keelah; his brother Orlan Schenfisch (Sharon); and his parents-in-law, Joleen Hauff, Jack Knudson and Ken Knudson (Joann).
Due to COVID-19, the family will honor Wilmar's life with a private interment at St. Paul Lutheran Church Cemetery in Makoti with plans for a public memorial service in 2021 To plant Memorial Trees in memory of.
