He was loved and cherished by many people including: his grandmother Carlson; his wife Denise Wooldridge; his parent Paul; his brother Edward; his children, Jennifer, Joshua Peterson (Raquel Fruge), John (Leta Peterson), Julia Peterson and Joseph Peterson (Janene Peterson); his grandchildren, Daniel, Jessica and David Peterson; and his siblings, Shirley Harbaugh, Sherman Peterson and Darrel Peterson. He was also cherished by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers and plants, memorials are preferred to Our Redeemer's Church, Minot in memory of Rich.
