She is survived by: her spouse Odell Hakanson; her children, Ansel Hakanson (Peggy) of Maddock, ND, Dean Hakanson (Connie) of Langdon, ND and Sherry Hakanson-Moore of Steamboat Springs, CO; her grandchildren, Kevin Hakanson (Stacy), Kristin Spickenreuther (Steve), Travis Hakanson (Megan), Bailey Germann (Nathan) and Brian Moore; her great grandchildren, Emma, Audra, Savanah, Jonathan, Matthew, Amanda, Christina, Devin, Hailee and Lizzie; and her sisters-in-law, Marcella Risovi and Vera Risovi. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
