He was predeceased by: his father Ernest Scott. He is survived by: his mother Arlene Scott (Bragg) of McVille; his children, Stephanie, Ernest, Levi Scott and Tasha Cree (Matt); his grandchildren, Zoey and Zander Cree; his siblings, Joseph Scott of Lewiston, ID, LaDonna Schwan (Roger) of Michigan, ND and Mary Ford of Devils Lake; and his close friend Roxanne Johnson of Maddock.
