He was predeceased by: his parents, Clair Knapp and Alice Knapp (Curtis); his wife Mariol Louise Jones; his sister Dorothy (Rodney Slagg); and his daughter Rebecca (Francis Sides).
He is survived by: his daughters, Judith Huerta (Judy) and Melody Knapp (Mel); his son-in-law Francis Sides (Donna); and his sister Marjorie Johnson. He is also survived by five grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
