Roger Roles Obituary

We are sad to announce that on May 23, 2023, at the age of 77, Roger Roles of Lisbon, North Dakota, born in Cando, North Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Roles and Thelma Roles (Ness); and his sister Gladys Roles. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Snaza; his sons, Jay Roles (Angie) and Jon Roles of Garrison, ND; his granddaughter Tatum Roles of Brooklyn Park, MN.; and his siblings, David Roles (Marcia) of Rio Rancho, NM, Gerald Roles (Laura) of Lake City, MN and Barb Nelsen (Dawayne) of Cando, ND. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to North Dakota Veterans Home Activity Fund.

“I was so surprised and saddened by Roger's sudden passing. I knew Roger because first thru my father-in-law, when he was a resident of the NDVH and now my mother, who is currently a resident. Both of them were in the same household as Roger. Roger was always fun to visit with. He always had a smile and was joking around. He loved when I would bring Lefse to share with the residents, and my sister had promised him pie! He will have to have his pie in the sky! Rest in Peace Roger! Nancy B”
