He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Brekke and Ellen Brekke (Mathieson); his siblings, Gerald and Sonja Gulleson; his siblings-in-law, Rosemary Brekke and Grant Gulleson; and his mother-in-law Bernice Naekel.
He is survived by: his daughter Karen Brekke Krause (Dan) of Milnor, ND; his wife Sharon Naekel Mohberg of Lisbon, ND; his granddaughter Anna Krause of Lisbon, ND; his stepdaughters, Lane Mohberg of Mankato, MN and Amy Mohberg of Apple Valley, MN; his stepgranddaughter Andrea Rohrich (Travis); his stepgreat-granddaughter Arya Rohrich; and his father-in-law Leo Naekel (Donna) of Bothell, WA. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
