It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leona Nelson of Lisbon, North Dakota, born in Rutland, North Dakota, who passed away on December 8, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lars Holen and Annie Holen (Lloyd P. Nelson); her children, David and Christine; and her granddaughter Amy Nelson.
She is survived by: her husband Lloyd Paul Nelson; her daughter Pamela Olson (William); her daughter-in-law LaVerne Nelson; and her great grandchildren, Christina Nelson, Sarah (Samuel), Lockner, Erik (Shannon), Kristian Nelson (Jennifer), Karly Olson and Miranda Olson. She is also survived by one brother and two sisters.
