He was predeceased by: his parents, George Stroh and Pearl Stroh (Saeter); his siblings, Norman, Mildred Stotts and Beverly Endersbe; and his parents-in-law, Haakon and Mabel Bratlie.

He is survived by: his wife Minnie Bratlie; his children, Rodney (Marcia), Danny (Leanne), Paul, Jay (Marlene) and Angela Qual (Rodney); his sister Janice Engebretson; and his siblings-in-law, Marilyn Hock and Oscar Bratlie (Julie). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.
