He was predeceased by: his mothers, Winnie Freeberg and Marguerite Freeberg (Glynn) of Lisbon, ND.; his siblings, Lila Fiandaca, Janet Tracy, Howard, Wayne Freeberg, Winnie, Joseph, Rita Kay and Mary Fay; his parents-in-law, Herb and Clarice Mairs; and his siblings-in-law, Dwight Tracy, Ronald Urbach, Amy Freeberg, Darlene Freeberg and Gail Freeberg.
He is survived by: his wife Gerry Mairs; his daughter Tammy Awender (Pat); his grandchildren, Kelsey Awender, Kaitlyn Ptacek (Trenton), McKenzie Hollingsworth (Braden) and Ty Awender; his son Jerome Freeberg (Kristi); his grandchildren, Abby Freeberg and Cody Freeberg; his daughter Denise Awender (Phillip); his grandchildren, Brackin Awender, Jaron Awender and Brysen Awender; his siblings, Leonard Freeberg and Irene Tocci; and his siblings-in-law, Cathy Urbach and John Fiandaca. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and numerous friends.
