Josephine Herbst Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Josephine Herbst (Lisbon, North Dakota), who passed away on May 12, 2020, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Miller and Ceycelia Miller (Ellenwine); her husband Donald W. Herbst; her parents-in-law, August and Jesse Herbst (Smith); her brother Michael J. Miller; her daughter-in-law Kari Herbst; and her great grandchild Donn Lee Gilbertson.

She is survived by: her children, Deyon Suchla (Jim) of Leonard, ND, Alanna Schmidtke (Dan) of Lisbon, ND., Kara Meslow (Jen) of Lisbon, ND., Kathleen Groettum of Lisbon, ND. and Donnie Herbst of Lisbon, ND.; her grandchildren, Lindsay Morro (Dustin), Jade, Nate Suchla, Jordon Elbert (Jake), Dani Schmidtke, Michael Carter (Ronni), Kelsey Lund (Tom), Aavyn Meslow, Kortney Vesel (Tim), Kendall Groettum, Kasey Groettum and Karly Groettum; her great grandchildren, Zain, Isaac, Zoe, Cody, Aly, Bristol, Carter, Russell, Davis, Ivan, Ian, Isabella, Austin, Taylor, Shelby and Payton; and her siblings, Jane Slater (John) of LaPorte, IN and Dave Miller (Sherri) of Valparaiso, IN..
