It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irene Hoenhause of Lisbon, North Dakota, who passed away on December 12, 2024, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Irene Hoenhause to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mamie Hoaby and Theodore Hoaby; her husband Myles Hoenhause; her daughter Evelyn Baasch; her son-in-law Dale Baasch; and her siblings, Norman, Marvin, Ernest, Jesse and Ilene Larson.
She is survived by: her son Harvey Lisbon (Kathy); and her grandchildren, Dean Baasch, Daleyn Baasch, Jennifer Nanasy (Ken) of Perry, MI, Andy Hoenhause (Tiffeny), Jody Hoenhause and Mitch Hoenhause (Heidi). She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (418 5th Ave W, Lisbon, ND 58054). A memorial service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
The service is to be snappy and fun, not sad—no flowers or crying.
