With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gary Olson formerly of Lisbon, North Dakota, who passed away on November 29, 2022 at the age of 79. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gary Olson to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Nels Olson and Adeline Olson (Janecek); and his siblings, Goldie Bott (Ted), Vonnie Steele (James), Clifford Olson (Mavis), Willis Olson (Doris) and Donald Olson.

He is survived by: his wife Phyllis; his children, Jeffrey Olson (Kim), Julie Schlecht (Monte) and Joel Olson (Lisa) of Berwyn, IL; his grandchildren, Lucas Schlecht (Kylie), Adam Schlecht (Alison), Ashley Olson, Kyle Olson, Justin Olson and Zachary Ahnefeld; his great grandchildren, Samantha, Kaylie, Gage, Aspyn Schlecht, Leah, Brady Schlecht, Jordyn Reid, Harper Olson and Gotham Ahnefeld; and his siblings-in-law, Janice Olson, Gail Palmer, Sheryl Dagman (Virgil) and Charles Hitchcock. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family wishes memorials made to Faith Journey Lutheran Church, West Fargo, Memory Café, or a charity of your choice.
