With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gary Clarence Rieger of Lisbon, North Dakota, who passed away on January 20, 2023 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Rieger and Louise Rieger (Gutting); and his siblings, Don, Jack, Bob Rieger, Clarice Ready and Deloris Devitt.

He is survived by: his wife Ilene Lecy; his children, Cindy Nims (Brad), Scott Rieger (Janelle), Dan Rieger (Jodi), Bonnie Carter (Steve) and Craig Rieger (Tina); his grandchildren, Lexie Herzog (Andy), Josh Nims (Taryn), Chloe Nelson (Jon), Sam Rieger, Ellie Rieger, Matt Carter, Nick Carter, Jake Carter, Luke Carter and Alex Rieger; his great grandchildren, Sawyer, Hadley Nims, Shea Herzog, Noah, Hali and Hazel Nelson; and his brother Tom Rieger. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
