He was predeceased by: his parents, Nels Olson and Adeline Olson (Janacek); his siblings, Goldie Bott, Vonnie Steele, Clifford and Willis Olson; his son Douglas Olson; and his great grandchild Alex Wall.
He is survived by: his wife Janice; his brother Gary Olson (Phyllis) of Fargo; his children, Joy Tooley (Cliff) of Lisbon, ND, John Olson (Karen), Daryl Olson (Lori) and Danny Olson (Rachael); and his grandchildren, Sarah Harrison, Jen Tooley, Jesse Tooley, Jamie Tooley, Jadon Olson, Morgan Olson, Grant Olson and Lacie Olson. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, Lisbon, North Dakota.
