He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Buchholz and Pauline Buchholz (Hochstetter); and his siblings, Albert, Gerry Buchholz, Esther Tunell, Eleanor Martz and Lillian Thurn.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Buchholz; his grandchildren, Emily Nord (Patrick), Natalie Kiefer, Nicole McRitchie (Austin Deering), Grace Buchholz and Jackson Buchholz (Alex Kielb); and his great grandchildren, Bentley, Maverick Nord, Sadie, Logan Kiefer and Claire Hanson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
