She was predeceased by: her parents, Oliver Olson and Esther Olson (Kjelland); her husband Harland Berntson; and her siblings, Carol Olson and Keith Olson.

She is survived by: her children, Marie Eggert (James), Brian Berntson, Carol Anderkin (Bill), Rhonda Day (Shannon) and Steve Berntson; her sisters-in-law, Cheryl Olson and Elinor Chapman; and her cousin Sharon Kronebusch. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren.
