He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Rudolph Richter and Marcella Richter (Nieters); his former wife Clara Meckle; his wife Diana McCarthy (Bosch); his children, Randon Richter (Carol) of Bismarck, Ricky Richter (Jackie) of Bemidji, MN, Robin Richter of Beulah, ND, Heidi Schroeder (Jay) of Ottawa, IL, Steven Richter (Kimberly) of Mendota Heights, MN, Todd McCarthy (Michelle) of Linton, ND and Shannon Nieuwsma (Kenneth) of Strasburg, ND; and his siblings, Bernard, Raymond Richter (Arlene), Mary Dolman (Jim), Glen, Theodore and Marvin. He was also cherished by his many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
