She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Frank Joseph Meier and Catherina Meier (Fischer); her husband John SW Steen; her daughter Pauline; her stepfather Eugene Reimer; her daughters, Diane Steen (Larry Lathrop) and Susan (Randy Christiansen); her grandchildren, Kiley Cintron (Kallberg) of Minot, ND, Jayme Ogden (Joe Ogden), John Christiansen, Shane and EmmaLee Christiansen; her great grandchildren, Alek Ogden of Los Lunas, NM and Freya Christiansen; her sister-in-law Ruth Sandwick of Linton, ND; her niece Karen Anderson of Kenosha, WI; her friend Lee Ann Lipp Brandner of Bismarck, ND.; and her sisters, Margaret Lorey, Victoria Larsen and Ann McAlister. She was also cherished by several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Celebrating the Life of Pauline: (due to the Coronavirus Pandemic) A Memorial Service for Pauline will be scheduled this summer in Minot, ND, and she will be laid to rest at the Linton Cemetery.
