He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Walther and Hanna Walther (Breckel); his wife Estella Lipp; and his siblings, Theodore, Fredrick, Milbert, Emanuel, Henry, Kenneth, William, Alexander, Edward, Rueben, Raymond, Jacob, Ida Hiatt and Etta Shermer.
He is survived by: his daughters, Cynthia DeGree (Dennis) of Las Vegas, NV, Tena Weber (Dennis) of Linton, ND and Faye Fiergola; and his grandchildren, Jack DeGree (Tisha), Eddie DeGree (Jenna) of Las Vegas, NV, Summer Ibach (Steve) of Berthold, ND, Derek Weber (Alex) of Denver, CO, Ivy Kost (John) of Herreid, SD, Crystal Stoller (Theo) of Glen Ullin, ND, Samantha and Colin Fiergola of Linton, ND.
